1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information. Name, email address, phone number, and payment-related information provided during registration.

1.2 Property and Lease Data. Property addresses, unit details, lease terms, rent amounts, and tenant information that you input into the Platform.

1.3 Payment Data. Transaction records processed through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account numbers, or other sensitive payment credentials on our servers.

1.4 Usage Data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, features used, and session duration.

1.5 Device Information. Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers collected automatically when you access the Platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Platform
• Process rent payments and related transactions through Stripe
• Send transactional communications (payment confirmations, lease reminders, maintenance updates)
• Monitor Platform performance and diagnose technical issues
• Enforce our Terms of Service and protect against fraud
• Generate aggregated, anonymized analytics for product improvement

3. Analytics and Session Recording

3.1 Analytics Tools. We use PostHog and other third-party analytics services to understand how Users interact with the Platform.

3.2 Session Recording. PostHog may record session activity, including mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, keystrokes (excluding password fields), and page interactions.

3.3 Data Masking. Session recordings are configured to automatically mask sensitive input fields, including passwords, payment credentials, and Social Security numbers.

3.4 Opt-Out. You may opt out of session recording and analytics tracking at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or through your account settings when available.

4. Information Sharing

4.1 Service Providers. We share data with third-party providers that help operate the Platform, including Stripe (payment processing), PostHog (analytics), and cloud hosting providers.

4.2 Legal Requirements. We may disclose information in response to valid legal process, including subpoenas, court orders, or government requests.

4.3 Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, User data may be transferred as part of the transaction.

4.4 No Sale of Personal Data. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, secure access controls, and regular security reviews.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Upon account deletion, we will remove personally identifiable information within six (6) weeks, subject to legal retention requirements.

The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Users of material changes by posting a notice on the Platform or by email.
