Our property management platform
Rental property document management
Keep property documents and photos with the rental record, and expense attachments with the cost they support.
File documents by their rental context
A lease, an inspection photo, and a repair invoice answer different questions. Our property workflow provides document and photo uploads, while the expense workflow supports attachments for the specific cost. Choose the record that gives the file its context so you can find it again when reviewing a tenancy, a maintenance issue, or the books.
Separate stored files from signing status
Uploading a lease file does not mean it has been signed. Use the electronic-signature workflow when a document needs signatures and review its signing status before treating it as complete. Retain the relevant signed copy with your records, use recognizable file names, and check that the selected property is correct before uploading sensitive information.
Getting started
- Open the property or expense record the document supports.
- Upload the file with a recognizable name and review the selected record.
- Use the signing workflow separately when signatures are required.
What to know before you use it
Storing a file does not verify its contents or legal validity. Maintain the records and retention practices appropriate for your rental business.
