Bank Transaction Import: Stop Typing Expenses Into Spreadsheets

AnyRentCloud connects to your bank account via Stripe Financial Connections and imports your transactions automatically. Each transaction gets categorized into a Schedule E expense category and matched to the right property. No manual data entry. No end-of-year bank statement review.

How It Works

  1. Connect your bank account. Click "Link Bank Account" in AnyRentCloud. You'll authenticate through your bank's own login page. AnyRentCloud never sees your bank username or password.
  2. Transactions import automatically. AnyRentCloud syncs your transactions regularly. New transactions appear in your ledger.
  3. Auto-categorization. AnyRentCloud looks at each transaction and assigns it a category: mortgage interest, insurance, property tax, repairs, utilities, management fees, etc. These categories map directly to IRS Schedule E line items.
  4. Property matching. Recurring transactions get matched to the right property. Your mortgage payment for 123 Main St goes to 123 Main St, not to 456 Oak Ave.
  5. Custom rules. Create rules for recurring transactions: "All payments to ABC Landscaping = Maintenance for 456 Oak Ave." Set it once, and every future transaction from that vendor gets categorized and matched automatically.
  6. Review and adjust. Check categorizations periodically. Fix anything the auto-categorizer got wrong. It learns from your corrections.

Why Stripe Financial Connections?

Stripe Financial Connections is built by Stripe, one of the largest payment processors in the world. It connects to over 5,000 financial institutions in the US. The connection uses bank-level encryption, and your credentials are never shared with AnyRentCloud.

Other platforms use Plaid or MX for bank imports. Stripe Financial Connections is newer but built into AnyRentCloud's payment infrastructure, which means your rent income (from Stripe) and your bank expenses (from Stripe Financial Connections) live in the same system. No reconciliation between two different data sources.
